Lee was born and raised in Westchester, New York. He graduated cum laude from Syracuse University and earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management in Syracuse, New York.

Lee attended Pace University School of Law, where he was accepted into the John Jay Legal Services Criminal Defense Clinic, an opportunity to develop his litigation skills and solidified his desire to thrive in the field of law. This first-hand experience allowed Lee to grasp the knowledge and tenacity in handling his own cases and develop connections to his clients, enabling him to form bonds and fight for his clients’ rights.

Lee was accepted into the prestigious summer internship program at the Bronx District Attorney’s office, where he was able to observe the community first-hand and further his trial room skills. He was able to advocate for the rights of citizens under the law as well as develop his writing skills in interacting with the judges he appeared before.

After graduating cum laude from Pace Law School, Lee was determined to commence his career as a lawyer. Upon earning his Juris Doctorate degree, and passing the New York State Bar Exam, he continued his career as an attorney with Barasch McGarry Salzman & Penson, with a focus on the World Trade Center claims and the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. This reinforced Lee’s desire to represent victims including but not limited to the World Trade Center Personal Injury Claims. The opportunity to advocate on behalf of people who continue to be affected by this tragedy has strengthened Lee’s desire to go the distance for his clients and never stop advocating until just compensation is achieved.
